Taking care of 3 dogs or 2 carat emerald cut diamond ring?
Author: shopping-pages // Category: Emerald Cut Engagement RingsFrage von fourcheeks4: Taking care of 3 dogs or 2 carat emerald cut diamond ring?
We made a deal, that I would take care of his 3 dogs and on our 10 year anniversary…(in 8 years) I would get a 2 carat diamond ring and I would give my orginial engagement ring to my son when he wants to get married. The problem is his 3 dogs have trashed our house tearing into the subfloor. Chewing electronics, etc..it’s so much. I also have two children and I feel like I am taking care of 6 children my husband included…Is it really worth it?

2 carats is 2 carats, sister! haha Can you quarantine the dogs so they are only in one room unless you are all at home?

Those dogs need obedience school, it is absolutely unacceptable that they have trashed the house so bad that you even need to make this decison.
I think you know the answer to your question already – you need to lay down the law and not let your dogs or husband walk all over you.

gee…that’s a tough one….how about this……..NOOOOOOOO ….are you nuts….He should buy you a nice ring because he loves you….I wouldn’t want to upgrade my engagement ring by bartering away my time, home and sanity…..what were you thinking…..how important is the “bigger” diamond to you…..come on now…..

better add a 2 carat emerald cut diamond necklace and pair of earrings to the deal;

You made a commitment to these dogs so follow through. Forget the diamond and bring them to obedience school. They will give you a lot more happiness than a ring.

At this rate, the dogs are going to cost you so much money in repairs that you’re not going to be able to afford the ring….
Get the ring upfront, if you plan to continue the doggydaycare!

Make sure you get the most flashy ring you can find….
I really wouldn’t go through with this deal. It seems like he is taking advantage of the deal. If the dogs are tearing up so much of your property, I’m sure it would be cheaper to ditch the dogs and buy your own ring rather than replacing all of you personal belongings repeatedly.

it’s definitely not worth it…. no ring would be worth that amount of hassle. take the promise of the sparkly stone out of the equasion and would you still be with the guy??
if yes, then you’ll have to put up with his dogs… but try bargaining for a 4 carat!!

Is it worth it to YOU?
I would ditch the dogs, and buy my own ring. What do dogs have to do with rings anyway? You should take care of the dogs because you love your husband and want him to be happy, not for some stupid ring.

Is your husband a good husband? If so, why does it matter for you to get a 2 carat diamond?? I don’t get our society, they put so much effort in the ring and not in the marriage. What matters most, a man that is faithful, adores you, respects you, or a huge diamond ring, but cheats on you, and tries to buy you with money?? The symbol of the ring is “no beginning no end” in the marriage; not how much bigger is my ring than so in so down the street.

take your dog for a basic dog training…. and get lots of raw hide bones…. i had a few dogs that did this and when they got trained they stopped.. along with the bones, the dogs need a daily walk to get out some built up energy… dog training books really help also….good luck
keep the ring deal…lol

no way
..get rid of the dogs and use the money for the ring to fix up the house

That’s actually a pretty rotten deal. Provide a service for a gift?
Uh-uh. Why don’t you get the gift anyways, and keep your own engagement ring, and pass it on to whomever YOU wnat to give it to when you are ready.
It’s not worth it. Period.

get rid of the dogs and buy yourself the ring it might cost more in the long run after the dogs finish destroying your home.

stick it out the dogs will die!!! The diamond wont…but then again you might be divorced before 10 years…toughy! Make the dogs sleep outside
